Hello bloggers,
My first beer i am going to talk about is Jupiler. Jupiler is a 5,2% pale lager brewed by Piedboeuf Brewery in Jupille-sur-Meuse (Belgium, ofcourse) since 1966. Jupiler has a slightly bitter taste. It is made from malt, maize (corn), water, hops and yeast. Piedboeuf Brewery is owned by Anheuser-Busch Inbev. Jupiler is exported to more than 80 countries around the world. Piedboeuf are the main sponsor of the Belgian Pro League, the highest Belgian football division, as well as the second highest league in the Netherlands.
My Opinion: It's a good but standard beer. Nothing special. It's often served at parties & bars here in Belgium. My son drinks this when he's playing poker here at home with some friends, but it's also drunk by older people. But I know better beers then this! I will talk about them later.
gonna check it out

ReplyDeletegood post! if I can find it anywhere I will try it for sure! :D
ReplyDeleteYou seem very knowledgeable about beer, so if you don't mind, can I ask a question? I've tried many different beers and, I'm not sure what the differences between beer and ale and lager and coolers are, but the even the fanciest beer I had (which was some apple cider thing, was like 15 bucks) tastes like stale peanuts. Why? Is it an acquired taste? Are there better beers out there?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a pretty standard beer.
ReplyDeletefollowed back =D i think ive had this before too..
ReplyDelete@steve yeah it is :D In later posts i will talk about special beers!
ReplyDelete@Sean: Well Sean what beers are you talking about? Here in Belgium we got tons of good beers with good tastes. But when i was in Germany i drunk some beers and they had a bad taste and low Abv (less then 5%) The taste has alot to do with the ingredients they use :-) i can recommend "Duvel", "Tripel Karmeliet", "Brugse Zot". But i will talk about them later:)
Hmmm this beer isnt available in my country.. :(
ReplyDeletecheers!
